Dear Prospective Puppy Buyer,

Thank you for clicking on our Puppies For Sale button and for considering a Long Trails Farm Puppy as your next family member.  As you look through our Contract and Important Documents you may start thinking that we are asking “too much” or “why go through all that just to buy a puppy?!”  If you are, we are probably not the breeders for you.  We don’t breed our dogs just because we have two dogs and want to have puppies from them.  We have gone through great lengths and expense to ensure that a puppy you buy from us is healthy and has a good temperament.  We care about you and our puppies and want to make sure that you are both happy together.  To us, an animal is a commitment for that animal’s entire life.  We are committed to their welfare from birth to end and by having our standards and the paperwork we do for our buyers we help ensure the integrity of our lines and the breed as a whole.  You can buy a cheaper puppy with little to no paperwork, no contract, and less fuss.  But that puppy is most likely from a puppy mill or back yard breeder who has not vetted the puppy’s parents and cares about little more than money. These are usually the puppies who end up in shelter’s, rescue’s, or euthanized for biting someone.  We don’t want that and neither should you!
